What
is a Direct Deposit Payroll Card?
The Load-n-go Payroll Card is a bankcard that acts just like a
Direct Deposit checking account. The main difference is that your
payroll is deposited directly onto the card. Instead of writing
checks, you can use your Payroll Card to make purchases, pay bills,
etc. The Cards can also be used, to withdraw funds, at over 28
million ATM's and at Point of Sale (POS) merchants worldwide.

ATM machines will accept my Load-n-go Payroll
Card?

Payroll card can be used at any ATM machine that displays the MasterCard, Cirrus and Maestro symbols shown here.

What is Point of Sale Transaction?
Point of Sale transactions or POS, means purchases, including cash back, at retail merchants like grocery stores, drug stores, gas stations, fast food restaurants, convenience stores, etc. that accept debit cards. Today, almost all retail stores accept debit cards. To make a purchase or to make a purchase and get cash back at POS, you will need to enter your PIN number at the store. The clerk will assist you with this if you need assistance. Is
my Payroll Card a Credit Card?
No. Your Payroll
Card is a Stored-Value card. This means that you can only withdraw
cash or make purchases up to the amount of money stored on the
card. If you try to use the card for more than the current cash
balance on the card, the transaction will be declined.
How
can I use my Payroll card?
If you have the Payroll card with the MasterCard®
Logo on the card, you can use the card just like you would a credit
card. You can make ATM withdrawals, Point of Sale (POS) purchases,
rent cars, make airline and hotel reservations, and make toll-free
or online purchases just as you would with a credit card. When
you make purchases at restaurants or other retail merchants, you
will sign a receipt just like you would with a credit card.
If you have the Instant Issue Payroll card, without the
MasterCard® Logo, you can
only use the card at ATM machines and POS merchants that accept
Debit cards. You cannot use this card for renting cars, making airline and hotel reservations,
or for toll-free or online purchases. However, most establishments
such as grocery stores, convenience stores, drug stores, gas stations, fast food establishments,
etc. will accept this type of card.
What
if I leave my current employer or have two jobs?
Once you receive your Load-n-go Payroll Card, you can sign up
for direct deposit from your new employer. You may also receive you pay from more than one employer. Each of your employers, as long as they
support direct deposit payroll, which most do. If you leave your
current employer for a new job, just sign up for direct deposit
with your new employer and you will start receiving your payroll
on the card each payday from the new employer. It's that simple!
Just like a checking account, your card always stays with you.
Can
I receive my IRS Income Tax Refund on my Payroll Card?
Yes. To receive your Direct Deposit refund on your card, make
sure you or the person who prepares your tax return checks the
box on your tax return for Direct Deposit and suppliles the Account
Number of your card and the Routing number on the back of your
card.
Can
I receive other reqular payaments or Government payments like
Social Security, etc. on my card ?
Yes. You can request Direct Deposit of payments to your card from
pension and annuity payments, interest payments, retirement
and mutual fund distributions, Social Security, veterans and other
government benefits that supports Direct Deposit payments. Simply request
a Direct Deposit form from the apporiate company or agency, complete
it and return it to begin receiving your payments on your card.
Can
I receive a second card for a family member?
Yes. If you would like a second card for a family member, simply
notify your payroll department.
Can
I send money from my card to a second card?
Yes, once the family member has received the card you can transfer
money from your card to a secondary Load-n-go card. To transfer
money, you can call Customer Service or login to your account
online. As soon as you provide the information the money is transfered
to the secondary card in real-time and the other person can begin
using their card. There is a small fee of $3.50 per transfer.
What
if I have lost my card and I can't find my
Card Number?
It is necessary for you to have your Card Number with your PIN
when reporting a lost or stolen Card to customer service. You
should write your Card Number down and store it in a safe place
at the time of purchase, but never keep your Card Number and PIN
stored together.
How
do I get a replacement Card?
Contact your employer or call Load-n-go Customer Service.
How
is the Card Activated?
When you receive your MasterCard® Signature
Payroll Card it will have a sticker on the front of the card with
a toll-free number to call to activate the card. You will need
the card number and your social security number to activate the
card. Your PIN number is mailed separately and you should receive
it approximately 3-5 days after you receive your card in the mail.
If
you receive an Instant Issue ATM/Debit card, the card will be
activated when you receive it. Your PIN number will be included
in the sealed Card Pack you receive from your employer.
Can
I change my PIN number?
Yes. The registered card holder, on file, will have to call customer
service in order to change the PIN number. You may also change
your PIN number by setting up a free online account at www.Load-n-go.com
and login to your account.
What
if I lose or forget my PIN?
If you have the MasterCard® Signature
Payroll Card you will still be able to use your card for all credit
card type purchases. You will not be able to use your card for
cash withdrawal at ATM machines without your PIN.
If you have the ATM/Debit Payroll Card, you will not be able to
use your card. Contact Customer Support and after you have been identified,
a new PIN will activated for you.
Can
I access my account on the Internet?
Yes. by going to www.Load-n-go.com
you can set-up a free personal account where you can check your
balance, change make card to card transfers, and much more.
How
do I check the balance on my card?
You can check the balance on your Card by using an ATM, the Internet or by calling Customer Service. There
may be a transaction fee to check your balance at an ATM. There
is no fee to check your balance by phone or online. To check your
account online at www.Load-n-go.com
you will need to register and establish a user name and password.
How long is the card good for?
The
card is good for two years from the date of activation. If the card is not used for a period
of 90 days the card will become inactive. If you have a cash balance
on a card that has been rendered inactive, you may call Customer
Service to reactivate your card. A reactivation fee may be applied.
Can
anyone own a card?
Anyone receiving direct deposit payments may receive a card.
Do
I need to sign the back of my Card?
Yes. Your card is not valid unless you have signed the back of
the card.
What
if I want to make a purchase that is over the Card balance?
The limit is set based on the amount of funds stored on the card
and available at the time of purchase. If the amount of your purchase
is more than you have on the card, your purchase will be declined.
Can
I use the Card to make purchases on the Internet or by phone?
If you have the MasterCard®
Signature Payroll card, you may use it just like you would a credit
card. This means you can make purchases on the Internet or by
phone.
If you have the ATM/Debit Payroll card, most Internet sites and toll-free order numbers do
not accept ATM/Debit Cards because they do not process PIN numbers.
